Well here it is time for Thanksgiving again!!! It seems like I just got up from the table last month and we are getting ready to do it all over again…When all of the kids were little it was very important to Pastor and I that our children learned proper manners.  When someone gave them something, or paid them a compliment we required them to say Thank You !!!

The other day we were all out eating together and I listened as they all said thank you when the waitress refilled drinks, I was quite proud, the reminders paid off !!!!!!

How many times do we forget to say Thank You?

In 1 Thessalonians 5:18….In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

The writer Charles Dickens wrote it was the best of times it was the worst of times….living for God is not always perfect, blissful and happy go lucky, there are times of horrible grief and extreme hurt.  We need to be thankful, because the grief and hurt can take you to a place in God that you would have otherwise never been pushed to.  Be thankful for the illness because the people that it has brought into your life have made if for the better.  God is ordering our footsteps and we should be thankful where he is taking us even if sometimes we do not know where that is…..HAVE A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING!!!!!
