Are You Connected?

One of the buzz words of our day is "connected". It's mostly used in business circles. Are you connected to your co-workers? Are you connected to your clients? Are you connected to the current trends?

However, I think being connected is more than a buzz word. Ultimately, connection is what we crave. Thus, the obsession with cell phones, texting, Facebook and other forms of media. We seek connection in relationships. We desire to be connected to the world around us.

The connection that is the most important is our connection to God. When we understand that we are totally reliant and dependent on God, we can see how vital this connection is. With God we become victors, giant slayers, overcomers, champions, conquerors, empowered and a reflection of the power of God in this world. Everything that we are and everything that we will become hinges on being connected to the Vine, which is Christ.

John 15:5: "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me, ye can do nothing."
