Need for Discernment
A WORD FOR THE JOURNEY

Prior to Desert Storm troops offensive, there was a supernatural occurrence. The wind always blew from the north, but that night it blew from the south. Even the Saudi officers were amazed. The next morning, the troops could not believe their eyes. There was a huge exposed minefield. Had it not been for the south wind, the mines would have been covered.
In the day that we live, we must realize that sin is often disguised. It's getting tougher and tougher to discern the land mines that Satan has placed in our path. Too often we , and often our children, step into something before they see the danger.
The church is in need of discernment. We must teach our kids to discern between good and evil.
Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
